In Lancaster, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Pennsylvania on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

Donβt let the modest store front fool you this is good tasty pizza, nice crust. They advertise their Stromboli βis the best on the planetβ so I had to try it and it did not disappoint!! Seriously one of the tastiest strombolis ever!!

Got a cheesesteak, pizza, and Stromboli. The dough was fresh for all of them. However in the cheesesteak and Stromboli there was little to no meat. I mean a cheesesteak should have at least 12oz of meat if not more so itβs overflowing. The Boli should be packed. Was pretty disappointed because the pizza sauce and dough were really good

My wife and my grandson and myself are in Lancaster for the weekend just to get away and do some shopping. Decided to give Columboβs a try since it was close to our hotel. Big mistake! We ordered a small pepperoni pizza, a medium works pizza, and a cheesesteak with lettuce and mayo. The pizza didnβt have much sauce or it disappeared while cooking. Neither pizza tasted good. My wife also said they put too much seasoning on her cheesesteak when the menu mentioned nothing about seasoning. Needless to say most of that meal went in the trash. Lack of customers on a Friday evening should have been an indicator. Also, it took almost an hour to get our food. Live and learn.

If I were anyone else this would be a 4 & maybe even a 5 overall!!! So if you are reading thisβ¦. This place is good. Marinara great flavor, robust some spice & complexity. Mozzarella Sticks hot, buttery, cooked to perfection. This reviewer couldnβt decide the age old question. βTo dip or not to dip?β The cheeseburger sub, hot fresh, SEASONED (hallelujah!!!) tasted great. Unfortunately, was light. Suggestion for owners: IMHO, Meat should be end to end, lettuce & filler should rise above the bread. This was a 1/2 patty & 1 pinch of lettuce from perfect. Mayo was sweet, which is not my fave, however because it was well seasoned I didnβt mind as much. If you are going to go sweet use Miracle Whip π€’. Cheese was good. The outside & inside unassuming. A lot of taped signage, guest expectation postings which is 1 of many of my pet peeves. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

We love this place very much. It did have a change of owners and employees, but they are still great and kept things how they were for the most part and added a lot more to the menu. They did make some small changes to make things even better. We do miss the old staff but the new owner and staff are very nice and hardworking and we like them a lot. This place makes the best pizza in Lancaster County, strombolis are pretty good, and so are the subs. Just wish they would drop the Pepsi products for Coke products. The prices are reasonable and usually better than anywhere else. My entire family has been coming here for years. We are never disappointed. The only negative thing I could say is that their dining room could use a remodel. But we usually get takeout/delivery. We go out to many different pizza places almost every Friday night, but most of the time, we end up just getting Columbos if we can't all agree on a new place. We also love Rosa Rosa and Two Cousins on Columbia Ave near Tobias Frog. Thanks for the years of great food and service, and I will probably keep coming till I'm 6 ft under.
